"I wanted to get involved with Friends of Homerton Station as it's a really exciting project right on my doorstep! Anything which makes Homerton a nicer place to live and work has to be a good thing! It was really exciting planing bulbs and spreading compost as it felt like I had a hand in creating what I'm sure will be a beautiful wildflower meadow. Also I have met a lot of people from my local community who I didn't know before so that's a bonus! The exciting part comes now where we wait to see the first flowers coming up in spring . . . . something exciting to look forward to over the coming winter months!" Charmaine
